Received a Collection Bill on an account that I did not Open

Called AT&T today because they sent a collection bill on an account that was not mine. Appears it belongs to a family member who account is still active.  Requested the bill be applied to the proper account and was told they could not do this. I was told by their customer service and the supervior ID #Y72Q3Q7 that this was a civil matter and I needed to file a complaint. This was apparently their error and they refuse to fix. Filed a Better Business Complaint and now I will write their CEO. I would think my $500 monthly charges in services and my business is more valuable than their error but I guess not.  Looks like I will be looking for a new carrier.
