Leaving AT&T after 10 years

I've been a loyal customer to AT&T for going on 10 years, but I don't think that this will happen.  I had a promise to pay for 07/20 and with all the issues going on in my life, disability, losing my job, etc.... I just plain forgot.  I got suspended 07/22/14 and made the promised pmt on the same day, but they say they can't reactivate my account because the latest bill is past due and has to be paid too.  Customer car said they can't do anything either.  I've INCREDIBLY disappointed in them.  I've paid them a lot of money since 09/2004 and I know they can assist but they just won't.  I need my phone active in order to get aid, for my disability make sure that my disability is approved/check on all those details, a whole slew of things.

I am posting this to aid anyone who is contemplating using AT&T as their wireless provider, or who is thinking of leaving AT&T.  I'd say leave, they are expensive and when you REALLY REALLY REALLY need some assistance, they say they can't do a thing.

Signed a very dissatisfied AT&T customer/but not for long.
