I had recieved a replacement phone from a 3rd party insurance company back in april, then the following month when i checked my bill, i saw that there was a Telesales CPE Chargebacks for $341.18. i called at&t and they told me this charge is for my phone, because this phone who bought it from at&t is disputed from a credit card, so at&t just charged me the money because they were billed because of the dispute. They said that the phone was bought @ best buy, but i got the phone from the insurance company because my phone broke... I called at&t's customer phoneline, and they told me that there is nothing that they could do, and that they would not be able to direct me to somebody who would be able to help me either. I dont think that at&t should be able to bill somthing like this to me, and i would not have paid it, but i am currently on autopay. I am very unsatisfied, and am serisouly thinking about changing carriers over this. it's ridiculous that there would be no escalation and that they would not be able to do anything about this charge, that i shouldnt even be charged for...
