So I spoke to an ATT rep. teoday and asked about changing my family plan I have with my husband over to an individual plan, due to the fact that we are separating. I was told it would be no problem, no change and no renewal of contract needed...only that they would need my husband's permission since the account is in his name. They tried to call him to get his authorization but he did not answer. I cannot call him to ask him to give permission, because at present I have an order of protection on him and we cannot talk. So after all that my question is: if he does not give permission, or they just cannot get a hold of him, can I still get the account changed so that I can have my own account, and if so how??????
