I too have been scammed by At&T and they won't do anything to fix the problem they created!! I opened up a new line of no contract service for my now ex-BF and got the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for his number. At the same time my daughter got a new device from her dad so she changed from an iPhone 4S to iPhone 6 but since she got the phone free it was NOT an upgrade but the dummy at the AT&T store did the transaction as if it was an upgrade and somehow put the installment plan for my ex's line on her line instead called a cross upgrade. But this was done in error along with the error of moving everything, the texting plan, the shared minute plan, everything to her line which is not the main line.
When I called them 2 days after the original transaction in December to let them know about all the errors, they said it would show up next billing cycle. But in January they only moved the talk & text plan back to my line (main line) but didn't move the installment plan. I called them again in January with still no resolution. February 4th, my ex-BF ported his line to T-Mobile but since the installment plan is not on the line he took, T-Mobile will not pay off the installment plan on the phone.
Now every single rep, supervisor, regional supervisor, etc. tells me that it is impossible to get resolved since once it gets put on a number it has to stay there and now that the number has been ported out it can't be moved. I tell them that if they had moved it in December when I first called, then it could have been done. In addition, since it is their (AT&T's) error to begin with that they should find a resolution like write a letter stating these facts so that I can submit it to T-Mobile to get them to pay off the installment for the phone I no longer have!
What really angers me is those hicks in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma think they have the final say by telling me that now it is impossible and that there is nothing they can do. PLEASE SOMEONE GET ME SOME HELP!!!
