Misleading customers

I recently combined my ATT uverse and Wireless account with 5 lines. I was told by ATT that there will be absolutely no impact to my account.

Recently i went to a costco store to get the blackfriday promotion of $250 off iphone upgrade on next plan but could not get it since i showed up as not eligible for upgrade. I spent 5hrs with 2 different managers to resolve this issue with no resolution. On my second call to ATT i was told that i was misinformed and if i needed to separate my uverse and wireless it would take 30 days (verizon does the same process instantly) and my internet prices would go up from $32 to $74 per month.
I have had similar experiences in the past and ATT has consistently proved to be communicating false information. Ultimately i could not get the upgrade and am now repenting my decision to continue with ATT. I am planning to switch all my lines at the earliest to a company i can trust
