My service was cancelled as part of the port out process on 17th Feb 2014. I was unable to unlock my device so an agent (Jonathan ) put it in a request on my behalf (CASE:). This request was denied today and the reason given was, "Your account is not in good standing." This was after almost a week of no communication from AT&T's end. I have been without service all this while.
All my bills are paid for in full with current balance at $0.00
One bill was delayed because I had issues with autopay.
I also have a security deposit of $500.
I have been informed I will have to wait 60 days for the final bill to be generated. This is ridiculous. I cannot wait for 60 days to be able to use my phone again.
Just FYI, I decided to cancel after speaking to 4-5 agents who assured me I won't have any issues. The least they could have done is inform me of this situation.
