Being threatened to have my cell phone service cut off for a bill NO ONE can tell us what it is for?

I absolutely am at my wits end with AT&T's so called customer service.  Over a week or so ago we received a bill in the mail for $247 and some change, about 5 days after I had just made a payment of $297.34! So I immediately got online and looked our bill and online it said we owe $155????? So I start looking into the charges and it said we owe that for Direct Tv and Internet for July 5-Aug. 4th, ummmmm we had both services turned off JULY 4th!!!! And there it said the same thing about cutting our service off! Now we had a paper bill of $247 and online of $155, so last week my husband and I both called unknowing the other was doing so, to try to figure out why we being charged again and the bill said that if we don't pay our cell service will be interrupted and they will charge us another fee for that if we don't pay it by August 26 or 27th?? I am not exactly sure how many times my husband was transferred to different people when he made his call to "customer service" but I know he said it was multiple times and after being on the phone for over an hour of going in circles and never getting an answer for why we being billed this he had to finally hang up, since he was at work to make money to pay for this great service where no one knows how to answer a simple question!  Well my experience was just as bad and I got no conclusion to this mystery bill either!?! I got transferred 4 times with in 45 mins and the last lady I spoke to said she was transferring me to Combined Billing (at 10:32AM on Wednesday August 19th) well it rang and then I get an answering service saying to please call back between regular business hours Mon-fri 8am-5pm and sat (not remember the hrs bc I was so mad ) then it said thank you and have a good day......CLICK....IT HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! So btwn my husbands call and mine we wasted 2hrs that day and NOT ONE PERSON CAN TELL US A STRAIGHT ANSWER OF WHY WE ARE BEING CHARGED THIS BUT OUR SERVICE WILL BE CUT OFF IF WE DONT PAY IT!!!! I have every copy of every bill I have paid over the last SIX YEARS we have had ATT and this is the thanks we get for using their service and paying our bills??? So if anyone has any idea of what we should do to resolve this it would be greatly appreciated!
