I've been charged $30 in insurance for months. I never noticed because it is a family account and my brother thought it was something that I had asked for. The other day he asked me about it, "that is a lot of money! You should buy a good case for your phone, it is cheaper." I asked him, "what insurance?" and he answered me, "this insurance you are paying for months."
I just called ATT asking about it and saying that I didn't ask for it. It was being charged without my consent. The girl on the phone told me that the best the company could do was to give 3 months ($90) in credit.
I believe the company can do much better than this – since it was an improper billing.
BTW, we have a family account with 7 people on the account.
