After months and months and months of non stop calls to customer service it just gets worse and worse. I thought I was doing the right thing by adding my mother to my account as a separate line. We were told at the retail store that she had decent service in her area and if she didn't they would find her another provider. For the sake of my sanity and time I will say I have called about 100 times . Initially a nice lady worked with us and sent my mother a microcell and stated that we clearly did not have service in our area and that if the microcell did not work that they would take back the equipment and find my mother another provider. After months of trying to get somewhere they finally mailed the microcell. Did it work? No. I then called back about a dozen more times to let them know that we were still not getting service ... I never could get the same person on the phone and each cs rep I spoke with after this just got worse. Most were terrible and couldn't or wouldn't bother to read the customer service notes. Instead of honoring their words I now can't get anyone on the phone who has a brain larger than an acorn. My mother now has to deal with a phone that doesn't work and she's in her 70's and its her only phone. So if something happens to my mother and she can't use her phone to call for help I will sue AT&T. I'm so disappointed that it has come to me having to waste more of my time writing this silly comment because I can't get anywhere with them. Therefore, I'm going to pass on all my upgrades and when the contract is over I'll cancel and tell everyone how bad their service is. Shame on AT&T.
