If I am in the U.S. and am texting an individual who is abroad (Europe) carrying a U.S. phone and number. In others words it is a U.S. to U.S. text message convo, with the other person being abroad. Do I incur extra costs for these messages? Given that I have (had) no way of knowing whether the person is abroad, it would seem that he or she should incur the costs as he or she is the one abroad. Any insight would be great, thanks.
