Co uses fraud to trick unauthorized user into giving up my unlimited iphone data plan

Shocked by AT&T, they got my wife to change my cell plan (although she's not authorized to do that and no one from AT&T checked with me - I've had the plan since before we were married & we have different last names) and give up my old iphone unlimited data plan by telling her we weren't using enough data to need the plan and if we changed it we could get a $15 a month "Mobile Share Value" discount. They didn't mention that if a phone on the sharing plan ever upgraded when it was eligible we'd lose the discount unless we either; pay full retail price instead of using the upgrade discount, upgrade to a cell plan that costs twice as much as our existing plan (for a slightly larger discount that doesn't offest the cost), or upgrade using ATT Next - the crazy expensive credit buying plan where you end up paying way more than full retail price for your phone by the end of the payments... we upgraded a phone when it was eligible - 2 months after she changed the plan, and lost the discount. Now I pay the same amount of money I did before but AT&T doesn't have to give me unlimited data. When the phone was upgraded my wife got a text saying we'd lose the discount unless we took one of the options above for the new phone (pay more for the phone or pay more for a more expensive plan) but by that time we'd already lost the unlimited iphone data plan I've had for nine years. At best that's deceptive and deceitful, at worst it's fraud (intentional misrepresentation of a material fact resulting in damages) - or at least bait and switch. When we complained we were told, "oh - can't help you, you could have taken one of the three options and kept your discount but you didn't" then they tried to sell us on getting our TV service with AT&T and bundling our internet... Unbelievable. bad business on a level I've never seen. Might be time to tell all my colleagues at Warner Bros & the entertainment industry exactly what AT&T's business practices really are (Time Warner also gets a discount for Verizon you know). And you can’t email the company with complaints? You have to write a letter to Fort Wayne IN?
