Feeling like I was just forcibly violated by AT&T

I have never felt so taken advantage of by a phone company , my trouble all started when  my husband lost his job and we were unable to pay our june bill of $267.00 for 3 lines .  then we are hit with a bill of $395.00 for july( went over the data plan even though the customer service rep changed the plan and ensured me that it would lower my bill) Now my bill is over $933, and my lines were disconnected last month but their charging me $260.00 for september service i never used., I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. We are a struggling family trying to make ends meet and at&t is *** us out of $900, beacuse of data overage , and then continue to bill me even though the service is disconnected. The rep told me that in order to terminate i would have to pay over $1700.00 to leave , i have never felt so trapped before. i'll be telling EVERYONE i know to stear clear of At&t, they will screw you with their rates and your stuck with the bill .  They don't want to keep a new customer , i guess i'll have to look into a much cheaper plan for working families.
