Please Help!!!
My cell phone broke several months ago, I did not drop, I did not submerge it in water, it just stopped working. I brought the phone into an At&t store to see what my options were, I wasn't sure if it was under warrantee, etc.... The employee inspected the phone, and trouble shooting with tech support on the phone, I was advised to do a warrantee exchange. After I received my new phone, I received a letter stating that because the internal parts were "damaged" without external damage, I would have to pay $419 for a Galaxy S 3.
At that point I called the number on the letter, and was transferd to customer care. I was informed that I would receive a credit in the amount of $419 once the charge was posted to my bill. That credit has never showed up. I called customer care back and now they're saying that I do not deserve a credit, even though 2 employees told me point blank that I would not be charged for the phone, then Customer Care promised me a credit. Now I'm being told I have to pay the amount.
I've spent countless hours on the phone, been transfered to multiple departments, several employees and managers have yelled at me, 1 even hung up on me. All for a charge that I did not agree to, I was told that I would not be charged, then was told I would receive a credit for. Now when I call in, it's just me being yelled at and hung up on.
