Have been over charged for 2 years

I've been a costumer for over 15 years and have had no complaints or problems with sevice till this point. I'll get to the point, about 2 years ago I decided to upgrade to an iPhone along with upgrading my twin sons phones they were only 14 at the time and I felt iPhones was a little much for them at that age so I got them standard phones with text and calling. The man at the AT&T store told me what my new bill would be and we took our phones home and shortly later my first bill came in and sure enough it was exactly what the man at the AT&T store said it would be. Fast forward 2 years later my boys are now fixing to turn 17 and now wanting iPhones. So I called to price the new phones and to see what kind of packages I could get. So as I'm telling them I want to upgrade my boys phone to iPhones I tell him the numbers and he tells me one of them already has an iPhone and I quickly corrected him telling him no me and my wife are the only ones that have iPhones in my house. So after further research he discovers that I've been charged for an extra data plan on one of my sons phones that not even a smart phone for the past 2 years. I was shocked especially when he told me the amount I've been overcharged for the past 2 years it's totals up to almost 1000 dollars! So the man was very nice about it and told me he put it in the computer to credit me the amount and that he would call me the following Friday at 8:30 a.m to make sure everything went through correctly. So 8:30 Friday rolls around no call 9:30 no call so around 10:30 I got tired of waiting and called back myself and instead of them giving me the original guy I talked to and requested they put me on the phone with someone else and he proceeded to tell me he was aware of my case and even read back to me the conversation with the operator that put in for my credit. He also told me that the credit would not happen and that it's my fault that AT&T has been overcharging me for the last 2 years, those were his exact words the conversation was recorded, he said that I would get credited a 100 dollars and that was it, he told me that my boys must have taken out there SIM card and put it in an iPhone or something, that's why the computer automatically changed one of there to a data plan, I asked to speak with his supervisor and all I got was the same run around and the same spill about how it's my fault that I got overcharged for the last 2 years. You know I really expected better from a multibillion dollar company I understand mistakes but a 2 year mistake then to blame your billing mistake on me the customer, that's bad business. I've been with this company a long time got 5 phones through this company but I'm seriously considering moving my service over to Verizon. To me if you're not gonna do right by your mistake not mine then it's out and out stealing from me so ill just take my chances and my 4000 dollars I pay you a year and take the business some place else.
