Worst Customer Service Ever!

Been a customer for almost 20 years.  Have had many offers from other companies to switch, but have always remained faithful to AT&T.  But now I"m at my breaking point and am shopping for a new company.

It started back in February when my phone was stolen at a restaurant.  I immediately called and had the phone deactivated, and charged a 150.00 fee for that deactivation.  Ok fine.  Next day went into ATT store and purchases a new phone and even added a 2nd line for my finance'. Ok fine.  5 months later I get a letter from collections saying I owe 388.00.  Um what?? So then starts the long drawn out saga of trying to find out why.  After 2 1/2 hours on the phone, being transferred from person to person to person to person.  I am told I need to call a different number for collections.  By then my blood pressure was up so high I had to stop.  Then a few days later I tried again, with the exact same results.  However, I finally find out that OOPS, ATT was still billing me After deactivating my phone?? Um, Ok... well take it off ok?  Nope, gotta call collections, which I did and then they gave me another run around and ended up giving me yet ANOTHER phone number.  So I will leave this company with No resolution and still owing 388.00 that I shouldn't owe.  And if it affects my credit, I will dispute that too.

Obviously this company no longer cares about it's loyal customers.  I refuse to make another phone call and have hours of my day stolen from me.  This company has gotten too big for it's britches and eventually it will reap what it is sowing when they lose many good customers.

Goodbye AT&T!
