Using a Wearables sim card under contract in a Smarthphone

Hello all,

I have a question that has been making me a bit tense. I have a Samsung Gear S smartwatch that is under a 2 year contract that I signed when I bought my Galaxy S6. I also received a Galaxy Note as part of the phone deal. I switched over to the ATT Next plan and also moved to a Mobile share value plan with 25GB of data Unlimited call and text between my Dad's line, Dad's second line, my line, and the watch and tablet. Every device pools from the same data, text and minutes.

Here is my question:

My friend could not pay his phone bill after two insurance claims on his phone(yes, he is a clutz)

I let him use the sim card in my smartwatch in his iPhone 5s. He can now call, text, and use the internet, but is not able to tether; pretty much what you can do on the Smartwatch. What I am worried about is the contract for the smartwatch is described as access for wearables, not a smartphone. The smartwatch does have its own seperate line and can make calls, text, and browse the internet and do other activities that require data, but seeing that it is being used in a phone, I am worried this is violating the contract and that my helping hand to my friend may turn out to be a $3,000 phone bill.

So pretty much; Is it okay to use a line under contract for a Wearable or tablet in a smartphone with no penalty??

Thanks in advance yall!!
