Payment arrangement

On May 23rd my service was interrupted. I was told I couldn't be turned back on until I paid my past due bill. Ten days before I had called and made a payment arrangement and was assured by the customer service agent that I would not lose service and I had until the 12th of June. However my service was cut off and they wouldn't restore service until I made a payment. Which, by the way has created quite a financial hardship for me. On top of that I'll be charged a $40 dollar reconnection fee next month! I don't think it's right!!!
