My wife and myself combined our cell phone accounts in 2012 after getting married. Unknown to us, the representative at the ATT store set our account to a buinsess account. How exactly he did this without the proper proof of business is unknown to me. Ever since we have had nothing but issues in combining our Uverse account with our cell phone account. When I have called in the past to correct the issue, I have always been informed that I would lose my unlimited data plan that I have had for a very long time. I bought a new OnStar equiped vehicle yesterday and when attempting to connect the vehicle to my ATT data plan, surpise again that this can not be done with a business account. After sitting on the phone for 2 hours with customer support who this time states that it CAN be switched bakc without losing my current rates, it then gets denied because they refuse to transfer my two phone payment plans and require a payment in full of $1000 to pay off my phones, in order to correct THEIR mistake. I have been an ATT customer for over 10 years and this decision is based on the fact that I came back as a "C" credit rating. I just bought a $60k car yesterday and had debt discharged last year. None of which owed to ATT. I guess my loyalty and up to date billing means absolutely nothing?
