I have had 5 lines on my account for a long time, all regular lines, my daughter just upgraded and got an i phone, she told me i could share data, so i went online to upgrade my phone and i talked with a chat representative, that told me i could do the family share plan for 146/month for all 5 lines with 2 of them being i phones (i printed out the chat) I then ordered myself a new iphone and when it came, I called to activate it, and told them that i wanted the 2gb family share plan, the rep took care of switching my plans and told me that it would be 146/month, she even stated that the old plan was grandfathered in, and this new plan is going to save me some money every month. I got my bill yesterday and instead of 146 it was 259. YIKES, i called into cust serv, the rep was very nice and credited some stuff for me but told me that my my monthly bill would be 190, i to her the price i been quoted from 2 different people, and she said that she is sorry about the mix up, but there is nothing that can be done, she has checked it for me and she cannot do anything. I ask her about dropping service, and of course the 2 iphones that i just got will cost me 300 and some per line. I want the price that i was quoted or I am going to change services and I have been with at&t for a long time with no problems. Has anyone else ever experienced a problem like this? And if so, what did you do to resolve it? I cannot find anywhere on line to email them and i do not want to call back in, as i was on phone for quite a while explaining the situation and no one cares
