I have a grandfathered data plan with a second line for my 10 year old daughter ( $9.99 a month). I upgraded my phone in December from AT&T. And I gave my old phone ( Amazon Fire phone) to my daughter. I told the employee to keep everything the same. I then started noticing an extra $30 data charge for the second phone. Was told it was automatic since it was a smart phone. Her previous phone was also a smart phone but had a data plan that paid by use, which she used zero data. Called customer service a month ago and they said they would put it back the way it was. Still the same. Just spent another hour on the phone tonite and was told nothing could be done.
