Won't let me pay phone bill with checking account

My cell phone service has been suspended!! I had a payment set up with my debit card and that card got stolen and I had to cancel the card! I was trying to edit the payment to pay with the checking account rather than the actually debit card and AT&T is not allowing me to pay with a checking account! I need my cell service on AT&T!!!

I'm very close to switching carriers...
