Okay what is going on? I increased my Minutes Plan to be DOUBLE what I had available as I was getting low on minutes. I made it effective same day, as I knew I wasn't over and I still had hundreds of Rollover Minutes available. The past two days I'm getting emails first one yesterday saying I've incurred $50 in Overage fees then all of a sudden today saying I've incurred $100 in Overage fees in less than 24 hours?
FOUR DAYS after making the change I'm still checking Minutes via text where it's only registering my old Minutes Plan and now saying I've incurred 299 Minutes in Overage Fees. The only place it lists the new Plan title is on the account screen on this website. It's not even registering in the Recent Usage graph. I've never had this problem and I've always made plan changes effective same day as making the change. I've never had to Backdate it to avoid overage fees.
How do I fix this? I have proof of what day I activated it. My billing cycle doesn't end for another 10 days, which I've changed later than that before and not had a problem, so why is it giving me one now? Even the graph online says I'm not over my Minutes usage by the OLD plan. Is someone sending out phishing emails or did ATT botch the system? My father is in the hospital with Leukemia, and I increased my minutes to be able to talk to him to AVOID said overage fees. Will someone please fix this?
