AT&T's website says it's $2.50 per minute for calling South Korea for pay per use (without an international calling plan). For my one-time, 15 minute call to South Korea, that should have been $37.50. High price as it is. However, they billed me $3.55 per minute for a total of $53.25, plus the associated taxes and fees. Can someone explain to me what the heck happened? I've been reading through all the international calling info, and can't find anything that shows this pricing. Help!
I should note that some $5 option was supposed to be added to my account that would allow me to call this country for a flat rate of $5. I don't see on my statement that the option was added. So what should have been a $10 call turned into $53.25!
