Do not bundle your AT&T and directv accounts! Getting someone to assist you with your account or even logging into your account to pay your bill becomes an event after your account is bundled or "unified". Think of it like this, your bundled account only speaks German and everyone at AT&T, no matter what department you go to or speak to, only speaks English. That's about all you need to know. We've been a customer of AT&T for 15 years and directv for 9 years and the simple process of upgrading my phone has now become impossible. I even offered to pay for my phone in full after 1 hour and 39 mins at an AT&T company store just to be able to leave and I still have the same phone I walked in with.
