I bought two Iphones 6S and returned after 11 days.. as per the website i need to pay only the restocking fee as its still withing 14 days. I checked with a rep named Joseph M and he confirmed thats all i should pay. No charges for services as its still within 14 days.
Now when went to store to return it.. first they tell me that i have initiate the return at customer care/online. I go back to my home start this and then the online rep tell me store should not have done it and accepeted the return. I also confirmed that i would need to pay restocking fee only.. he said yes then he asked if i was charged an activation fee.. i said yes.. he said if it was an ATT store they could have waived it off.. but if they did it at the time of purchase they wont return.. so a confusion again.
But all in all he said.. for two phone i would maybe need to pay either $70 (restocking fee) or $100 ( restocking + activation) . I retuned the device then store rep tells me another version of it.. but charges restcoking fee which was ok and tells me it cancelled now but i may get a bill.
Next day i chat up ATT again.. and now a new story.. first they say the account is not cancelled. Then they tell me there would be a prorated bill.
.. i asked the rep to call his supervisor.. he goes off an comes back saying they cant do anything and type that since im not responding closing the chat... i was still there and still replying everytime they asked .. so they intentionally did it.
After that i tried to chat up again.. and my waiting time increased every time.. instead of going down.. so they do flag you.. so much for honuring their word and all.
Half trained reps.. even half brained sometimes.. even supervisors/stores are not honuring their own words.. wow!! way to go ATT !!
