Customer Relations is a joke!

I had an issue with trying to cancel the service on one of my 3 phones.  It was stolen and 

I didn't have a problem paying for the phone but did have a problem having to pay for service.   

I called cs so many times and literally spent hrs on the phone.  One person said call the fraud dept.  I was on hold for 45 mins only to find that they were closed. When I did get them they said it was a cs issue. Bi called cs and spoke with a few different people who helped me resolve the issue-I thought....

i got my next bill and again I was being charged for the stolen phone plus service.  I called again but this time I was told that the information I was given was incorrect and I could not cancel service and pay for the phone.   I was transferred to customer relations where I was told that what the previous person told me was correct.

i asked about what the 4 others had to,d me but she kept repeating herself about the previous call.

I asked how do I get out of this? She said she could cancel the line and I would have to pay off the phone with the next bill.

 

I have been an att customer since bags phones and didn't have any real issues, therefore I never shopped around. I have decided to change carriers just for the fact that I got the run around for one month, spent hours trying to get someone to help me and the end result was never addressing the misinformation and sticking to the talking points!

 

Anyone know a better carrier?
