I normally refill my GoPhone account once per year by paying $100. Since I hadn't used my phone a lot in recent times, my account balance had built up to over $450 when I was ready to do my next refill. Every time I tried to refill the account online, I would receive an error message implying that I had keyed in an invalid dollar amount. Even though it would recognize my $100 at the time I keyed it in, the refill would fail after I entered my credit card #. So I called the 800-901-9878 number instead and at least got a clue as to what the problem was. A recorded message stated that the maximum amount I could apparently have in my account was $500. So I refilled with less, but now I only got a one month extension and I'll have to do this again next month. So my question is: How can I add enough to my account to extend service for one more year without having to refill every month? I do realize that, due to the age of my phone, I will have to upgrade it, but I have until December 2016 to get this done. Thanks for any help.
