I am totally disappointed with the wrong information provided by AT&T sales person and the chat agents. here is what happened.
The sales person told that the mobiles (with AT&T NEXT plan) can be unlocked by contacting customer service while travelling abroad(India in my case).
I called the customer care before my travel and the agent says that it can be unlocked only after paying all the installements. He said that the sales person gave me wrong information. After having a discussion for about an Hour, he said , he can offer me AT&T Passport free of cost during my travel for 2months.
I called the customer care and got the passport added. now as I see , it got added only for 1month and the bill has $67 for international roaming charged after that month (probably for a week).
Today, I contacted chat agent Katherine, she said she will credit back the money and for some reason she didnt do it. the chat window closed accidentally.
I contacted customer service through phone , after talking for 20mins and keeping me hold for 10mins , the call got disconnected.
I dont understand how to resolve this issue.
