I set a payment arrangement for a past due balance tomorrow which I had full intention in paying but where I live (Richmond, VA) we are about to get clobbered with about 2 feet of snow. So I had to use our bill money to buy nonperishables, water, and a secondary heat source. Now, I'm broke. When I contacted customer service they said that they couldn't move it past tomorrow. She chit chatted with me for a minute or two while I begged for 7 days extra so I don't lose the only phone service I have with two children with medical issues in the middle of a storm/blizzard. Then, she cut off the chat when I asked if anyone above her could move it based on the circumstances and that If I lose my service in the middle of this storm over 7 days, then I would be looking into other cell services and companies. I don't want to do that but ATT isn't the same ATT it used to be where they cared and would move an arrangement if needed. I always pay my arrangements, and I haven't broke any recently, so how can I be treated like a number? What if my service is suspended and one of my children needs medical help (My 6 year old has a heart condition)? No phone, no help. Please someone help me, not judge me for having difficulty paying my bill(s).
