Ok, I have to say I am thoroughly confused as to why my bill increased dramatically after changing to the new Mobile Share Value Plan. I used to be on the Mobile Share 6gb plan paying $90 for the first phone and $35 for each additional phone. We have 4 phones on our account so that totaled $195 per month. I saw the new plan and thought it would be a great change and would save a signifigant amount each month so it would be a good change and further boosted my confidence that AT&T was being competitive and worth staying with. My new plan should be $100 plus $15 for each phone for a total of $160 per month. When I made the change I specifically requested it to not take a effect until my next billing cycle to avoid a bunch of prorated charges. I was floored when I got my next bill and it now showed I was paying $100 plus $40 for each phone so I went from $195 to $260!! Definitely not the change I was expecting so I waited on hold for 30 minutes to be told the bill was correct and my savings would not be achieved until up to two more billing cycles. Well, now I knew why the hold times were so long since I am sure the thousands of customers who made the change were all as confused as me. The operator said this should have been explained to me and it was most definitely not. I want to know where the extra $75 per month is going as I was told there would be no credit back to my account. I am not a happy camper and want answers that make sense. :smileymad:
