Why is it that ATT claims AttNext benefits the customer with lower monthly fees vs. the old 2-year contracts with subsidized phones? My "forecast" monthly rate if I sign up for 2 new smartphones is exactly what I'm paying now under a two-year contract. So it appears that only ATT benefits under the new AttNext! And the other major companies have all the same policies. Maybe time to switch to Verizon, where at least I get a $300 bonus to sign up for the similar plan.
