Yesterday I spent hours trying to order a new phone and upgrade with the Next plan. During the chat sessions I was told so many different things and most of those things turned out to be incorrect. It was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with this company. I was promised by the chat agent that absolutely no money would be due upfront if I ordered the iphone 6plus on the Next plan. So we went through the very long process of ordering my new phone and in the end, he told me I owed $65. He explained he had made a mistake and didn't realize taxes were due. So I had to pay that unexpectedly and I was not happy about this. And then he told me there was a better and cheaper plan then my current 7 GB plan. I had the chat transcript emailed to me so I do have this conversation available to prove. I agreed to switch my plan to the 15 GB because he had said it would be cheaper then my current plan. Unfortunately when I spoke with someone today on a chat, they said that is not true. My 7 GB plan is actually cheaper. So not only did I have to pay $65 that I was not expecting, I also am NOT getting my bill lowered or getting more data either! I am very upset about all of this misinformation. I find this whole experience to be really frustrating and unacceptable. As a customer, I am not very educated on the complicated next plans, or monthly bills. Which is why I ask AT&T's representatives to explain things to me. However, how can I trust anything I hear when everything I've been promised was false? Who can I speak to regarding my current concerns? I would like this resolved! If something was promised to me by someone who works for your company, why am I now being told the information I was given was incorrect and I won't be getting was I was promised? I would be glad to send the copy of the chat transcript if that's what it takes.
