Something is odd about overage charges on the Shared Data plan.
The 1GB plan charges $15 per 1GB added on.
But the 3GB plan charges $20 per 500KB (one-half of 1GB) -- that is, $40 per 1GB added, if you need that much in a billing cycle.
So my question to the ultimate policy makers at AT&T is: How do you rationally justify that almost triple-priced charge to customers when they ask about it?
Please do not answer by merely suggesting that I switch to the very costly 3GB plan. That was not my question; I asked for a justification, not an upsell.
