I am very angry and aggreived with ATT wireless billing practice .
I got a bill of 273 , They overcharged me by100 + , and after speaking to some cust rep , I was told to pay a part of it and then call back later, to resolve the issue of overcharging . but then ATT suspended my account and charged me 300 $ to re instate it . So ineffect i paid 400 $ .
I had a 30 $ data plan which i upgraded to 50 $ data plan ( 3 days into the billing cycle) .
ATT charged me 50 $ for the data plan + 45 $ for prorated part of it ( 26 days) and subtracted 26 $ ( for only using 3 days of the 30 $plan) .
Ideally it should be just 4 dollars ( for using 3 days if the 30 $ plan) and 45 $ dollars ( for using 26 days of the 50 $ plan) = 50 $ or less .
But they charged me 70 $ , 20 $ more than the actual plan.
When I called ATT , they are saying its nothing wromg with the bill , but ATT charges one month ahead, so logically then my next months data bill should be 50 $ - 20 $ ( as they already charged 20 $ more in earlier month)
butthey are saying no . This is mathematically and logically wrong . The ATT rep was simply threatening to hang up on me saying he is done explaining me . !!
and they asked me 300 $ for re instating the account saying that I have a 40 $ re instatement fee. but not sure how it added up to 300 now ? I dont think I should be paying 40 $ re instament fee , as I was in process of clearing it up.
I feel very agrieved , I know ATT is wrong ,but I have no way to fix this , I wish I had the means to redress this . But cust reps are unco perative or dont understand what i am saying. Nor do I find any one place or board where I could complain and get the matter resolved .
