Has anyone ever had AT&T attach a (rather large) charge to their bill stating that it was from several months back and that they "forgot" to bill it- for me back in (Oct) so they billed me for it in January?
--I am curious if anyone else has ever had that happen?
--What did you do about it?
--What are your suggestions that *I* do about it since I am on a STRICT budget due to a TON of medical bills and CANT afford an EXTRA $145 added to my bill out of the blue. It has just been riding on my bills month to month as "late". I HAVE talked to customer service who states that because it was legitimately my charges they CANT do anything about it and that I owe it, even though THEY messed up and should have charged me back in Oct.- yes, my Oct bill was less. I thought it was because I had called in Sept to see if they could lower my bill, AND I had a daughter get married and she had her phone moved off my bill to her OWN plan. I thought that the next bill was part of what they had lowered. NOTHING got lowered? My bills are higher than EVER, as if my daughters phone was still on it, and as if I didnt lower anything on my plan. ???
--Could they at any time decide they "forgot" to bill me from ANY TIME IN THE PAST (months, YEARS ago?) and add that to any bill now and then dock me for not being ABLE to pay those bills???
