OK, any ideas on this?
Bought a Galaxy note 4 online from AT&T in October 2014, had it for 2 weeks and realized I would never be able to root it so I did the following... Put the phone in it's original packaging, included my original invoice inside the package, used the return shipping label which was inside the original box, and handed it to a postal employee.
About a month later, chat support said the package just needed to be processed but I should get my down-payment and ETF refunded in a few weeks.
In Jan 2015, chat support said the package was never received but they would forward this on... no response.
Called phone support, she was able to see that the phone I said I returned was in fact resold by AT&T and currently being used on the AT&T network so a reasonable assuption would be that it was received by AT&T. She was able to refund my ETF but not the down-payment because... the warehouse still said they never got it.
Called again about 2 months ago... apparently there is a "special team" working on my case. Does it really take a team to figure this out?
So, any ideas on how I can get this process sped up?
