I am an ATT user for more than 2 years and I am pretty happy with the service especially in the last few months the plans and rates are really competitive.
Recently I added one of my friends to our family plan under mobile share. At the time of joining we were told the only fee we have to pay is around $18 and nothing else. They were kind enough to mention that $150 which was originally use to be charged is waived off at that time for us. I still kept getting reminders to pay that amount ($150). When I enquired the representative (Peter) who did the line addition for us in ATT store Newport Mall, Jersey City, NJ, he confirmed he will contact the corresponding people and get it removed. It again appeared in next month's bill also this time along with $5 late payment fee. Again we went and this time we met the store manager(forgot the name). He said he will emaile some bigger boss (his manager apparently) to look into it and it will be resolved soon. Now we have started getting emails saying account might be suspended if we don't pay. While the store manager has promised to revert the suspension as soon as it happens( not sure if this issue will be resolved or not) I am really worried about the credit history. Whom should I contact further to get this resolved? Any pointers will be helpful.
