We have been with AT&T for over 5 years. 8 Lines of service w/ a total bill of around $400 a month. We've always paid our bill and our lines have never been suspended before. Since we split the bill, we do about 3 parital payments.
Due date's the 28th of the month and on 29th $110 payment was made. Today, all 8 lines were suspended. THere was no warning, nothing. just suspension out of the blue.
Normally when we have gone past due in the past we pay within week after past due date so again, wasn't expecting a suspension TWO days after past due.
Call to pay and get re-instated and am told i'll be charged a $40fee!!!! The person was extremely rude (collections) and was only concerned w/ getting paid and not hearing me at all. I was tell her to look at the account history, we're not flakes so don't treat us like habitual late payers.
Finally tansfered me to a manager who kept saying it was a valid charge.. all I asked for some courtesy due our long time subscription and 1st time suspension, that is only 2 days after w/ NO WARNING.
What is giong on? How greedy is AT&T becoming??? in 5 years, we've paid over $24,000 i'm sure to them.... and just re-signed contracts of half the lines... Do they simply NOT give a crap anymore.
I'm so frustrated and mad.... I almost wanna sell the friggin phones to cover ETF and ditch em... Loyalty means NOTHING to AT&T.
