I cancelled my service and want my in-contract HTC one M7 to be unlocked. But I am being told that I will have to wait for my billing cycle to end which, to my badluck, is 25 days from today. This is really ridiculous as I have already ported my number and cancelled the service so then why do I need to wait for full billing cycle when there is no service of AT&T I will be able to use. I just want to pay the balance (including ETF) today and get it unlocked asap.
And on top of that when I asked the customer care to let me talk to a senior official, they said someone will call me in the morning which never happened. AT&T is not so customer friendly anymore as I thought it was.
