I will try to make sense of this:
My plan month runs from the 9th to the 8th. I have two Iphones and had the 10 gig mobile share value plan which with my 17% FAN discount costed 121.74 per month. I decided to switch up to the 15 double to 30 gig plan. I did that on the first day of my new billing cycle which was October the 9th. Made the switch to begin that day for the new billing cycle. I always make sure to do these plan changes so I don't get prorated charges and to keep it simple. I check online for the bill and see that the new bill for the period Sept. 9th to October 8th is $38.78. Looking at the bill it appears that I was only charged $40 per phone less the $25 discount per phone for the mobile share value plan and then add a couple fees and taxes and that is what the bill is. why would this prorate? I am on the phone with customer service and am on hold til she tries to get me an answer. She is initially telling me that I will get hit with basically a double bill next month and that doesn't make any sense to me. I know they bill a month ahead but trying to figure it out makes my head hurt. Any ideas?
