ATT is offering anyone with 10 gigs or higher famiy share data plan a temporary offer to double the data for the same price, but the offer must be accepted before October 31, and there are some caveats that if you change your plan after that you lose the double-data but I am not sure how that works. Otherwise, it is supposed to 'go on forever' until you do something to dis-qualify yourself.
I was afraid to sign up for it because there are so many times that I and others were mislead by ATT about real costs. I was assured many times over hte phone that there wlil be absolutely no change in my billing amount, ok, what's to lose?
So far I am very excited to have 30 gigs of data for the same price I was paying for 15 gigs, and woe is me, I won't be able to use up all my data by the end of my cycle this month.
So . . . . with all the complaints on this forum about ATT and I have had a few myself, why isn't anybody talking about this really nice 'warm fuzzy' they are giving, at least some, of us?
I would hope people don't miss out on this deal who qualify for it because they didn't hear about it.
ALSO, I ***believe*** it includes anyone who wants to sign up during the month of October, too, you can get double the data for the price on any of the larger data family plans, (is it 10-gigs or higher, or 15-gigs or higher?)
So, this is just a heads-up if nothing else.... I havn't got my new bill since the change yet, but wlil post here to advise any good or bad news about it (although I have been having trouble posting on this site most of the the time lately, which is why I didn't comment on a few other things here yet.)
