I lost my phone in August and went into an AT&T store to have it replaced. They mentioned there would be no charge for the phone or any change in my plan. Recently, I have noticed that there is monthly charge on my bill for equiptment that is in fact the new phone I got. I called customer service to dispute the charges but they said it was past the 14 day cancel period so I am out of luck. This is highway robbery in my mind as I was never told I was buying a phone. Has anyone had the same experience? If so, what did you do?
