Feel very deceived

We had completed our 2 year contract with AT&T. After the hype, I decided to upgrade both my wife's and my phone to the new iPhone 6 on our existing account.

We were given the option to upgrade by either the routine method (2-year contract) or to some new plan "AT&T NextSM" which has you doing installment payments on the full retail amount.

Looking at it simply:

Pay $299.99 per phone and stay with AT&T for 2 more years -or-

Pay an installment of $31.25 for 24 months (total of $750)

So hey, who wouldn't go with the 2 year contact?

As I'm going through the screens to order 2nd the phone, I received a message saying that I would lose my $25 Data sharing discount on the second phone.

After activating both lines, I recieve a text message saying that I would lose my $25 discount on my first phone.

Now my service is going to cost $50 more per month.

Well that changes everything.

I search the website to find http://www.att.com/planchange saying I had 14 days to convert over to the AT&T NextSM plan.

But after a visit to 2 stores (one retail, one corporate) and two long to calls to customer (total wait time 2 hours), no one knows how to switch over my already activated phones from the 2 year contract.

My only option is to send back the phones (deactivate) and reorder (reactivate) under the AT&T NextSM plan.

Since my old phones are already sold and would expect to get hit with de-activation & re-activation charges, and cant really go without cell phones with the sendback and reshipping I find myself having to accept the fact that my bill in going up $50 per month.

I feel very decieved when a company place a steep discount on service and fails to adequately inform me of the discount removal until after I've already made a 2 year commitment.
