Tired of AT&T's deceptive agents and their lies! I just want out after more than 10 years!

I just am so very tired of having to call AT&T every month to fight against the excess charges that I get for rate plan changes that I never have agreed to, data plan changes that I never make, and even adding a new line, just to tell me that, "sure, you're elligible for an upgrade", when, in fact, I was not!

 

My husband and I have had wireless service with AT&T for more than ten years.  In the beginning, our monthly bills were almost identical.  I never had a problem with them.  Within the last two years, however, I have had multiple agents lie to me for various reasons in order to collect more money from us.  I was wondering if anyone knew if the last thing that they did to us, which was tell me that I was eligible for an upgrade, then send me the new phone along with the new 2 year agreement, only to find out that what the agent had done was add another line to our account in order to give us the new phone!

 

The last four phones that I have gotten from AT&T have not lasted for more than a year, and I cannot afford to simply go out and buy a new windows phone, so I have had to use every upgrade that I am eligible for, even though signing up with another two years of AT&T service is the last thing that I want.  My bills have gotten larger and larger due to data plan changes that I have NEVER agreed to, but I can't prove it!  I just want to leave AT&T, but I don't have the money to pay for their early termination fees.  Out of four lines and phones, my son and my daughter still owe on their i-phones.  I feel helplessly stuck!  I can't afford $280 a month for service for four lines!  It shouldn't be that much, but they keep telling me that I have been changing my data plans every month, but I honestly have not!  I don't know what to do.
