I am fuming because I had to spend time talking to three different representatives about an issue that should've been resolved in the first place.
I recently signed up for an international data roaming plan for my two weeks trip, but for the entire trip I wasn't able to connect to the internet. I was upset because I had to walk around the whole time looking for a wifi cafe. As soon as I came back I talked to a representative asking for a reimbursement. I was very nice about it and didn't really complain about the inconvenience it had caused, as long as I got the full reimbursement.
First representative assured me I will not see the extra $30 charge on my bill because he canceled it. Then yesterday when I was going to pay my bill, I saw that I had the additional $30 on my bill. So I talked to another representative and she said she will talk to her manager to resolve, and then afterwards we got disconnected. Shouldn't they follow up and try to reach you?
Nevermind that, I talked to ANOTHER representative and explained the whole thing. Her name was Christine Knowles. She told me I would get $29 back instead of $30. I asked her why she is taking out the dollar, and she said I had it on my plan for 2 days since the first guy put a cancellation 2 days after I had signed up.
I don't care about a dollar and I can live without. But why am I paying for something that I wasn't even able to use? I asked her for the full reimbursement, but she threatened me that it is better to pay for 2 days than the full 2 weeks. And then she offered to give me back $1, making it sound like I was desperate and it was her money to give away. When I told her that it wasn't about the dollar, then she said she offered and I rejected and I will only get $29. I mean, seriously? It is MY money that is being thrown around and who is she to give away my dollar? Don't they need to apologize first? I am serious thinking about leaving AT&T which I've been a loyal customer for more than 7 years.
