Can I use the AT&T promotion card as a bill credit?

Hi All,

I'm interested in the $100 for smartphone trade-in offer (I have an old Atrix 4G). I'm wondering if I'm able to apply the balance from the promotion card as a bill credit, and if so how would I be able to do this?
