ATT is daft. Issue begins with insurance claim, remember payments have been going to ATT, and my note 2 phone getting wet. ATT sent new phone, note 3. Note 2 dried out and worked again, so calling insurance carrier to stop note 3 in transit, they told me to send back. Box received, never opened, returned to sender and insurance/ATT confirmed receipt of merchandise/note 3..
Account was charged $199 for note 3. On chat line with ATT, I relayed story and they said it would be adjusted. Three times on chat line, no reverse of $199 debit.
Paid bill except $199. ATT said they were going to terminate service because of unpaid balance of $199.
Had to call 800 abyss #. 37 minutes on call, and even a supervisor named Taj, employee#TM818K was not helpful. Insurance company told ATT phone received and credit issued to ATT, but Taj says it takes two billing cycles to credit me, wow?? Taj said he could put me on an installment plan to pay $199. I asked Taj do you pay for merchandise/services not received? Saga continues as I await credit! Will they disconnect? A customer of ATT for more than a decade, is it time to change?
