I'm currently deployed and decided not to cancel nor suspend my line just because I didnt want to deal with the hazzle of it, and because we have two lines and my wife back in the states still uses it. On top of me basically paying for my line that I didnt use. I somehow used 76 minutes of roaming in a month even though I had every thing turned off as far as cellphone data, but on the Iphone 5s you can't turned the carrier setting off as it will automatically reconnect. I called ATT beacause my bill was an extra 180 for the roaming calls. I explained that I didnt cancel or suspend my line before i deployed it because I wanted to keep my line on (Which quite hoenstly benefits ATT). They said the best they could do was reduce my roaming cost by 60 dollars and that I would have to keep paying for roaming unless I canceled or suspended my line. I had no choice but to cancel my line. I feel dissapointed that they would have rather lost a customer then do something about the roaming charges. Currently my account is suspended as I do not want to get anymore roaming charges accidently charged, and now I have to go through the hazzle of emailing my orders to cancel my line when in reality that is not what I wanted to do.
