Data Usage Reset. Is it delayed?

My new bill cycle came today the minutes got reset. I have a problem with my data usage; it didn't reset back to zero it still shows the same data usage from last month. Is it normal that it does that, delayed or what's going on? Because the other mobile devices that I have is almost running out of data. Please help. Thank you.
